Alex Enright, Speech Pathologist

A summary of Alex's qualifications and experience:

Alex completed her degree in Speech Pathology (BSc Human Communication Science) in 2004 at Curtin University. Since graduation Alex has gained extensive experience in working with children with developmental delays and disorders. She has provided services in a range of capacities, including roles with Telethon Speech and Hearing, Disability Services Commission as Clinical Specialist Behavioural Support and Therapy Team, her own private practice, Kids R Kids Therapy Services and the Autism Association of WA's Early Intervention Programme.

 

Alex's special interests and passions:

Alex has developed specialist skills and knowledge in a range of areas, particularly assessment and treatment for children with ASD where she is accredited to provide diagnostic autism assessments. Alex also has extensive experience in providing Auditory Verbal Therapy for children with hearing loss. She has also worked in a key worker role providing support to families in a range of contexts. 

 

 

Reason for loving what you do:  

When we asked Alex the reason she loves her job she said, "I find it incredibly rewarding to help children to reach their potential and love working in partnership with families to achieve their goals! I love working with children and always make it a priority to make therapy fun and exciting".
