Laura’s special interest’s and passions:
Laura has a strong interest in working with children and animals alike, being involved in equine therapy volunteer programmes (hippotherapy) with children in Perth. Laura loves the diversity that working with children as an Occupational Therapist can bring from day to day. She especially enjoys physical activity and loves helping children reach their movement and strength-based goals through gym-based activities, exercise and play.
Reason for loving what you do:
I love working with children as every child has such a unique personality, this makes therapy so enjoyable and individualised. I love seeing children develop confidence and skills in different aspects of their lives and I feel incredibly lucky to be a part of that growth. It is truly special to be able to support and work alongside families to create a therapy programme that is tailored just to their child’s goals.
