Private Health Insurance | Therapy Services

Rebates are available for Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and Physiotherapy from all private health insurance providers. Please check with your health fund to find out specific rebates. Rebates vary according to the level of cover you have and some companies have tiered rebates according to how long you've been a member. No GP referrals are required.

 

You can contact your provider to check what the actual rebate will be for the different services using the applicable codes below:

 

Speech Pathology:

• S320 = Initial Assessment 60 minutes
• S340 = Subsequent Consult 30 minutes
• S350 = Subsequent Consult 50 minutes

Occupational Therapy:

• H100 = Initial Assessment 60 minutes
• H250 = Subsequent Consult 30 minutes plus

Physiotherapy:

• T500 = Initial Assessment
• T505 = Subsequent Consult
