Grace Andrews, Occupational Therapist


A summary of Grace's qualifications and experience:


Grace completed her degree in Occupational Therapy at Curtin University, Perth. She then went on to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in Adolescent Health and Well-being through the University of Melbourne and her Master’s Degree in Women's Health Medicine through the University of New South Wales. Grace is commencing her PhD mid 2022 on Sensory Processing and Trauma through the School of Occupational Therapy. Grace has worked across the lifespan in regional Australia including with inpatients, paediatrics and remote Aboriginal Communities. She has experience in facilitating sensory groups, creating individualised play therapy programs, toileting interventions and coordinating fine motor groups. 


Grace’s special interest’s and passions: 


Grace is passionate about ensuring people from all walks of life and various backgrounds receive the best quality health care and access to services. This can be seen in her additional studies and volunteering with organisations such as Red Cross. Having spent most of her life in regional areas Grace also has a deep love of country and can often be found hiking or participating in open water swims.


Reason for loving what you do:


I love being an Occupational Therapist because we are privileged to work in creative ways alongside individuals to achieve their goals.  Being a part of someone’s journey to reach their full capacity brings me great joy.
