Ideas for Dyspraxia/DCD
Dispraxia toys, tools and aids for kids, children and teens.
Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), also known as dyspraxia, is a common disorder affecting fine and/or gross motor coordination in children and adults. Many non-motor difficulties may also be experienced by people with the DCD, including difficulties with memory, perception and processing as well as additional problems with planning, organising and carrying out movements in the right order in everyday situations. Dyspraxia can also affect articulation and speech (Oral Dyspraxia).
In this category we've included some of the resources we like to use to help children practice and develop their motor skills and coordination. You can also look more specifically in the Motor Planning section as well as the Visual Motor Skills section as there are lots of great resources there too!
