Chewy Tubes are oral motor tools designed to provide a resilient, non-food, chewable surface for practicing biting and chewing skills for children and adults. Their size and shape supports the transition from midline tongue exploration to lateral jaw movement and side-to-side tongue movement.
Intended for individual use, the Knobby Chewy Q is non-toxic, latex and lead-free and contains no PVC or phthalates.
Babies and toddlers enjoy the Qs extension for tongue exploration. For larger jaws, the larger Q offers a firm bilateral surface for jaw closure activities and the knobby surface provides additional sensory input.
Approx 9cm in length. It is functional, attachable and dishwasher safe.Clean with mild soapy water and replace when visible wear is evident. The Chewy Tubes are designed to be chewed but will eventually succumb to wear and tear. Check the Chewy Tubes regularly for signs of damage and replace if necessary. On average, the Chewy Tubes lasts 6-12 weeks but 4-6 weeks or less for avid daily chewing.
